Your team is often the first place a survivor tells — sometimes before they've told anyone else, sometimes before they've decided whether to report anything at all. Deepfake abuse and sextortion move fast, cross platforms most crisis response wasn't built to track, and require a kind of technical follow-through that isn't always realistic to build in-house, especially for organizations already stretched thin. We built our program to plug into your existing crisis response, not replace it.

Trainings, Built Around Your Advocates

We offer trainings tailored to how your organization actually works — a session for hotline responders on recognizing and talking through a sextortion or deepfake disclosure without shutting it down, a workshop for crisis counselors on what to say when a caller doesn't know if what happened to them is even a crime, or something built around a specific pattern your team is seeing. Referrals

Referring a Survivor

If a survivor discloses image-based sexual abuse, deepfake abuse, or sextortion during a call, text, or chat, you can refer them to us directly, or have them reach out themselves — either path works. With the survivor's consent, we can coordinate with your team on next steps, but we will never share what a survivor tells us without their permission, and they never have to go through your organization to reach us, or vice versa.

On evidence: many survivors also want to pursue a report later, even if they're not ready now. Our process documents URLs, timestamps, and platform data before any takedown request goes out, so a survivor who later decides to report to police doesn't lose that option because content came down first.

Tech Access for Your Advocates

Organizations that handle a meaningful volume of these disclosures can request direct access to Protect Privacy AI, the detection and removal technology built by our tech partner, for your own advocates to use with survivors in real time — not only through a DIF referral. It uses facial recognition and hashing to find where a survivor's images have spread and coordinates removal with platforms directly.

What will the Digital Identity Foundation offer your clients?
We provide image removal, detection technology access, and image-based sexual abuse-specific support for healing and justice. Think of us as a specialized layer alongside the services you already provide or refer out to, not a replacement for any of them.
Is there a cost to make a referral or request tech access?
No. Referrals, virtual trainings, and standard tech access requests are free. In-person training is available with fees to be determined based on location and format.
Can our advocates get trained even if we don't have a current case?
Yes — most organizations train before they need it. That's the point.
Do you replace our relationship with law enforcement or legal partners?
No. We work alongside law enforcement and legal referrals, not in place of them — see our Law Enforcement resource page for how we coordinate with agencies directly on the same case.
Is this available outside the US?
We currently support organizations and survivors in the US and Canada.
